Renovation of existing signage is often necessary if Planners or the Client desire to preserve the heritage or architectural details of a building for future generations to enjoy and to maintain a connection and understanding with the past.
It was just the case with these 600mm high letters.
These original letters were once fitted to the Bonded Stores of the Dorchester Brewery nearly 100 years ago and although virtually intact, needed a great deal of "TLC!"
The former site of the Eldridge Pope Brewery is currently undergoing an extensive renovation & development programme known as Brewery Square Dorchester and Morgan Signs were commissioned to renovate these letters, finishing in a 22.5 carat Gold Leaf, bringing them back to their former glory.
It is a delight that these original letters are now displayed in the entrance foyer to The Eldridge Pope Building, now lovingly restored apartments.
