BSA SIGN AWARDS 2020

We were over the moon to be the winners of the Craftsman Award for the second year running in November 2020 at the BSA Sign Awards. We were awarded the title for our innovative signage and sculpture design, implemented at the Holly Blue in Basingstoke for Hall & Woodhouse.

Built in the style of a Hampshire farmhouse with attached barn, the pub is named after the Holly Blue butterfly. We pride ourselves on our creativity and this was a fantastic challenge for us to design and commission two beautiful bespoke wire sculptures, to incorporate into our signage scheme.

BSGA SIGN AWARDS 2019

We were absolutely thrilled to be the winners of the Craftsman Award in November 2019 at the BSGA Sign Awards. We were given the award for our creative signage, implemented at H&W Wichelstowe for Hall & Woodhouse.

The project featured a full scale narrow boat that intersected the building for guests to dine on. Morgan Signs invested almost 100 hours designing the bespoke artwork for the narrowboat, which we then hand illustrated and signwrote.

The scheme also included 2m high distressed CorTen letters and 1.5m high internally illuminated signage to create an impact across the canal.

HALL & WOODHOUSE
SUPPLIERS AWARDS 2017

In June 2017, Hall & Woodhouse held their first conference to recognise the achievements and endeavours of their suppliers and presented a number of awards which represented their core values. Morgan Signs are proud (and humbled) to receive the award for KINDNESS which both companies hold dear, both in business and in life.

INN SIGN SOCIETY
SIGN OF THE YEAR

It is a little known fact that Morgan Signs have won the Inn Sign Society pub pictorial of the year for 2014 & 2017 for the design of The Milk Churn at Melksham and The House Martin at Barton-on-Sea. Both projects were researched extensively with the final designs telling the story of the pubs and their locality with a bit of humour thrown in too! Definitely a talking point at the bar!
