O'NEILL'S

Soho, London

Client: M&B

O'Neill's on Wardour Street, Soho, was a special site steeped in musical heritage. The iconic grade II listed building was once the home of 'The Flamingo Club' in the 1960's. Famous for artists whom have played there live, such as David Bowie, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles and Jimi Hendrix.

The internal signage was a mix of sign writing direct to various substrates such as brick and tiles, combined with exposed neon in cages. The original Flamingo Club logo was also sign written inside the lobby as a nod to the past.

Externally, we produced chunky built up O'Neill's letters, with both face and halo illumination.
